Jonathan J. Weisman

Jonathan has been practicing in Surrey since moving to the Lower Mainland in 2009, and is thrilled to work in a growing business environment. Previously, he practiced with a boutique firm in Toronto, where he represented a wide variety of clients in civil proceedings and assisted senior counsel in handling complex matters.
Jonathan teaches business law at Simon Fraser University, and has lectured on insurance law at legal education events. In 2006, he served as a law clerk to the Caribbean Court of Justice in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. He received the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Award of Excellence on graduation from the University of Western Ontario.
Jonathan’s practice focuses on corporate/commercial and estate litigation, with a special interest in insurance coverage disputes.
