Chelsea Dubeau has joined the firm as an associate litigator after being called to the Bar in September, 2016. Her practice is comprised of matters relating to insurance defence, collections, estate and commercial litigation. She originally joined Hamilton Duncan as a summer student in 2014, and returned for her articles in 2015 after completing her Juris Doctor at Thompson Rivers University (TRU).
Chelsea is an active volunteer and contributor to the community. While at TRU Law, Chelsea founded the Women & Law Society, hosted the inaugural annual Kamloops Person’s Day Breakfast, and organized “Tunes 4 a Cause”, a night of music and charity. Locally, Chelsea enjoys participating in charity runs, and she volunteers with the United Way and the Surrey Princess Project.
Prior to attending law school, Chelsea obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University, and was employed by the Government of Canada where she received two community service awards.
