Jamie Porciuncula is an associate litigator with Hamilton Duncan and practises primarily in estate litigation, insurance defence, and employment law. Jamie has represented both corporate and personal clients at various meditations, settlement conferences, administrative tribunals, and at the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.
Jamie typically represents clients in estate litigation matters including wills variation claims, undue influence claims, incapacity claims, and resulting trust claims. She also assists clients in employment matters including termination of employees, and defence of human rights allegations against employers.
Jamie joined Hamilton Duncan as an Articled Student in 2011 before being called to the B.C. bar in 2012. Prior to returning to B.C., Jamie gained litigation experience while working as an Associate Attorney at a boutique law firm in Seattle, WA where she appeared before the District and Superior Courts in Washington State.
Jamie speaks English and Tagalog.
