Biography

Neeta Khatkar Gill received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University in B.C. She then moved to Queensland, Australia where she completed her Juris Doctor (J.D) at Bond University in 2011. She attended the University of Victoria School of Law for a semester abroad in 2010. She decided to return to her hometown of Vancouver and joined the team of Wirsig Matheos Lawyers as a paralegal in August 2011.

While working as a paralegal, Neeta completed the requirements of the National Committee of Federation and received a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2013. She commenced her articles with Wirsig Matheos Lawyers and was called to the Bar in British Columbia on May 4, 2015. She practiced in the area of civil litigation, specifically personal injury claims. She also has experience in insurance denial claims more specifically denial of disability, critical illness and life insurance claims. She can also provide services in Punjabi.

She joined the team of Hamilton Duncan Armstrong and Stewart in April 2017, as a Defence Litigator for ICBC Insurance Claims.

Neeta was born in Canada and has been a resident of Surrey, B.C since childhood. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, reading, cooking and kickboxing.
